We are a small company that offers advice and non-executive director services, tailored specifically to the needs of IT business owners.
This generally takes the form of a consulting agreement, or a non-executive director position with your business.
Whether that involves generating a capital-base to get a business 'off-the-ground', optimising company performance, providing for succession planning or preparing for an exit, I am able to provide the necessary assistance to improve outcomes.
I draw on my own personal experience, as well as the skills and experience of other industry veterans, with track records of success in developing and exiting IT businesses.
Sean Fane
After studying Leisure Management and Business Studies, I briefly worked in the leisure industry, utilising my passion for health and fitness, and attaining many sports coaching qualifications. I soon decided on a more dynamic career direction, and joined the fast-growing IT industry.
I became a software product manager for one of the leading global distributors, before setting-up my own distributor of CAD software at 27 years old.
After gaining the experience of running my own business, I was drafted in to turn-around the fortunes of a struggling IT peripherals distributor called InterQuad, where I took the position of Managing Director. Under my leadership, InterQuad Systems became the number 1 Citrix distributor in Northern Europe, and I formed part of a management buy-out team, which acquired InterQuad Systems and InterQuad Learning and became the QA-IQ Group.
QA-IQ represented the largest global Microsoft Accredited Training Centre, as well as the leading Citrix Distributor in EMEA.
After a period of further growth, QA-IQ was partially sold to private equity, and I helped to sell InterQuad Systems to a trade buyer, where it now represents the software division of one of the worlds largest IT distributors.
